You’ll be ok, just go do a long twitter thread. Honestly not everyone cares about lore, sucks when you do and others don’t but that’s a fact of gaming life. More than likely? No one cares or they are respecting the wishes of the streamer to not go deep on lore since they may not care. TL DR Don’t be a “helpy” jackass that kills the streamers mood with back seating.ĭon’t be a lore dumper: Unless the vibe of the chat, and more importantly the streamer is to go all in on the lore of the game/game series? Don’t start lore dumping in chat. #Set up raid alert muxy seriesGreat that is your fave series ever, but not everyone has played that much of or never until that stream. That’s rude and will get your comments deleted, you timed out and/or flat out banned. Especially if you ask if they want help, then immediately blurt out some tip no one asked for. Or to constantly “offer helps, suggestions and tips!” if they get stuck on a certain fight or area of your favorite game. We get that you love they are playing, but don’t ruin it for them.Īdded this to the No Back seating section : When someone is new to a game series and says repeatedly, “I’m new, let me learn the game.” that is not the chance to be the know it all in chat. Also, if a caster asks you not to discuss the game in chat due to potential spoilers, respect that. Especially if someone has in their broadcast title or tags, meaning it’s their first time playing, don’t give tips unless they ask for them. Want to keep your twitch experience Ad free AND help the streamer? Subscribe with Prime Gaming (1 free sub a month on Twitch) or if you can spend the money, drop a sub on the channel if you like their content.ĭon’t backseat! That’s rude, and unless the broadcaster asks for help in a game, it’s not helpful. The broadcaster and the rest of chat also doesn’t like having people complain about ads every hour or every time they are in a stream. We know, no one likes getting Ads mid stream. Otherwise it seems like you can’t be bothered with basic courtesy.Ĭomplaining about Ads is irritating, stop it. If you’re on mobile and can’t see that, say so. If you want to know what game the streamer is playing, or what the difficulty is, etc. Read the title for basic info first!: Oftentimes the same question that comes in can be answered by spending 30 seconds on looking at the title. If there are rules present, it’s for a reason. Please read them so you don’t cause a problem in the chat. #Set up raid alert muxy how toRead & respect the broadcaster’s rules: If the broadcaster has panels on their rules, how to support the stream, etc. #Set up raid alert muxy downloadSo until I can find, download and link to the talk, I’ve taken that out of the post.
